Who teaches
the class? |
 |
All classes are taught by Courtenay Harrington-Bailey. Courtenay
is a transplant from New York City where she worked as a
professional actress for many years. A member of Actor's Equity
Association, she holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Music and Theatre Arts and has performed for audiences across the
U.S., Canada, and Europe. You may recognize Courtenay from area birthday parties where she
sings and plays guitar as "The Singing
Mommy" or from Meryl's Music and Arts Center in Sandwich where she
teaches "Music
Together." In addition Courtenay has taught music
and drama at The Bridgeview School in Sagamore, The Sandwich
Independent Day School in Sandwich, and Cape Cod Child Development's
universal pre-k programs on the Upper Cape. Courtenay's goal is to provide a positive, safe,
and fun environment for your child to explore his/her dramatic self. |

Who
are The Dramafun! Players? |
|
The Dramafun! Players is a
performance oriented class for enthusiastic, dedicated young actors
ranging in age from 9-12. We will create original plays adapted
from children's literature, compose our own music, and share our work
with the community. Class will meet once a week for one hour but
extra rehearsals may be added as needed. |
 |
Where are classes held? |
|
Dramafun! classes are currently
held at Meryl's Music and Arts Center
located in Merchant's Square in Sandwich, Massachusetts and at
Tumble
Time Gymnastics in Pocasset, Massachusetts. Our studios
are large, bright, open spaces that lend themselves well to the active nature of our
classes. On our "sharing" days we transform these spaces to look more
like a theatre.
